As your gas fired boiler and system ages deposits evolves within the pipework. This will reduce efficiency and may need to be flushed out as this deposits coats the internal piping and reduces circulating efficiency.
The buildup of contamination can be counteracted by a commercial cleansing process known as a power flush.
Most systems develop this contaminants irregardless of type, there will be more in older systems. A power-flush should be considered as part of the preparatory process before you install a replacement gas boiler. Whilst your new boiler is in pristine condition it will soon have sludge and debris circulating within it as sludge and debris are agitated as the new components are fitted.
It is beneficial to add corrosion inhibitors to your central heating system to slow this build up of contaminants .

An automated powerflush simple machine is used to carry out the system cleansing. The contaminants are extracted from the central heating system water as it is rooted through the machine. The cleaning process is completed by the cleansed water being flushed through your system. A corrosion inhibitor is also added to the central heating system the end of the process.
A power-flush need to be performed by trained plumbers and there will be no mess or complications.
